First stop:
Trou aux Cerfs, the last dormant volcano in Mauritius, which last erupted about 700,000 years ago.
Next:
Grand Bassin, an Indian temple and sacred lake, where you can immerse yourself in Indian culture and traditions. You will also see 33-meter-high statues of Shiva and Durga.
Next:
A viewpoint with a breathtaking view of the Black River Gorge, where you might encounter wild monkeys and witness untouched nature.
Optional visit:
The final stop is Chamarel, where you will witness the Seven-Colored Earth, one of Mauritius’ natural wonders, and a magnificent 100-meter waterfall.
